Editor’s note: This story has been updated.

After years of planning and anticipation, we’re just 100 days away from the 2024 Paris Olympics, which will occur from July 26 to Aug. 11.

Multiple rounds of ticket draws and purchase opportunities have already occurred, but the final ticket release will be this week.

Final 2024 Paris Olympics ticket sales

On Wednesday at 10 a.m. Central European Summer Time, 250,000 new tickets for the 2024 Paris Olympics will become available to purchase on a first-come, first-served basis. You will need to set up an account to make a purchase, so you might want to do that ahead of time to be ready.

As of Monday, limited tickets remain available across multiple sports, including football, swimming and diving, rugby, basketball, rowing, volleyball, and water polo.

Upon completion, 10 million tickets will be sold on Paris 2024, the official ticketing site for 32 sports and 48 disciplines across more than 750 sessions at 37 competition venues.

Ticket prices vary by sport and type of session; they can range from 24 euros ($25.53) to 280 euros ($297.83), with higher prices for special events, such as medal ceremonies.

Once released, tickets will be accessed via a tickets app closer to the start of the Olympic Games.

If you buy tickets, you may be able to use a credit card that rewards sporting events purchases. For example, the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card earns 4% cash back on entertainment purchases.

The information for the Capital One Savor Cash Rewards Credit Card has been collected independently by The Points Guy. The card details on this page have not been reviewed or provided by the card issuer.

In 2020, Olympics tickets were coded as entertainment, tickets or sports tickets depending on the credit card, but be sure to contact your credit card company to confirm.

Otherwise, use a card that rewards everyday spending.

Bottom line

If you don’t yet have the tickets you want for the 2024 Paris Olympics, this is your last chance to grab them and witness the events in person. Before you go all-in on planning a trip to Paris, be sure to familiarize yourself with hotel and lodging availability, which is quite limited at this point for the Olympics dates.
